al-Inschiqaq
Al-Inschiqāq ( Arabic الانشقاق al-Inšiqāq 'The Breaking'; 'Split oneself') is the 84th sura of the Koran , it contains 25 verses . The sura belongs to the first Meccan period (610–615), its title refers to the first verse. Similar to sura 81 and 82 , it describes the omens for the judgment of God , the retribution of the righteous and the damned, and it castigates the attitude of the unbelievers .
