al-Infitār

Al-Infitār ( Arabic الانفطار al-Infiṭār  'The split'; 'Breaking') is the 82nd sura of the Koran , it contains 19 verses . The sura belongs to the first Meccan period (610–615), its title refers to the first verse. Together with sura 81 and 99 , it belongs to the so-called apocalyptic suras. She describes the signs of the resurrection of the dead and warns people about God's judgment. The upright are given a life of bliss and sinners arepromisedthe torments of hell .
