In the Qur'an, God is multiple as فاطر / fāṭir  / called 'creator', here in sura 6 verse 14. cf. also Fitra .

Sura 6:38 describes that animals and jinn are also united in the ummah (the community).

The Koran names 20 figures in the Bible, not all of them prophets, as forerunners of Muhammad. Especially Abraham , the “friend of God”, is the model of the true believer for the Koran. Like post-biblical Jewish tradition, he recognized that God is more powerful than the stars (Sura 6.78 f).

Nafs , the Arabic term for soul, appears in verse 93, according to which the angels on the day of judgment reach out their hands to the wicked who float in the abysses of death and shout to them: "Give your souls out" ( aḫriǧū anfusakum ) .

In Sura 6: 101 a connection to the Christian Trinity is made: "The creator of heaven and earth, where should He have a child where He has no mate?"

The term Islam occurs eight times in the Quran. In several places it is pointed out that the acceptance of Islam is a sign of divine election. It occurs when God wants to guide the person concerned and widens his chest (Sura 6: 125)

Sura 6: 145 represents an exception regulation according to the Darūra principle especially for the consumption of unclean meat in the case of impending starvation .
