Fussilat
Fussilat ( Arabic فصلت Fuṣṣilat 'Explained in detail') is the 41st sura of the Koran , it contains 54 verses . It is sometimes called Ḥā-Mīm , after the two mysterious opening letters . The commentators agree that the entire sura is dated to the third Meccan period of the Koranic preaching (620–622). Their title refers to the third verse.
In verses 1–8 and 30–36, the sura takes a stand against the attitude of the unbelievers , among whom the ʿĀd and the Thamud are given special mention. In addition, she praises the omnipotence of God (verses 9-29 and 37-40), with reference to the creation story , which is also understood as a reference to predestination . It affirms the truth of the Koranic revelation (verses 41-48) and finally laments human ingratitude and impermanence.
Verse 44 contains a reference to the dispute between Arabs and non- Arabs . The verse says that the unbelievers have something to complain about in every act of the prophet.
“If We had made it into a foreign language Koran, they would have said: 'If only its symbols had been presented in detail! How, a foreign language (Koran) and an Arab! "
« وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلاً مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَی اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ »
"And who speaks better words than the one who calls to God, does good and says: 'I belong to those who are devoted to God'?"
