Beltany's Court Tomb
The Court Tomb of Beltany located in Town Country Beltany, west of the river Strule and Beltany Road between Omagh and Newtownstewart in County Tyrone in Northern Ireland .
Court Tombs are among the megalithic chamber tombs ( English chambered tombs ) of the British Isles . With around 400 specimens, they are found almost exclusively in Ulster in the north of Ireland or in Northern Ireland.
The Court Tomb ( German "Hofgrab" ) is a court grave, of which three chambers of the gallery, a lot of relocated stone material and some cairn material , but only three stones of the courtyard have survived. Nearby are the Portal Tombs of Ballyrenan .
