Couto de Cima is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Viseu . The community had 861 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Couto de Cima and Couto de Baixo were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Couto de Baixo e Couto de Cima . Couto de Cima is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
