The Cowdray Park is a residence of the family Viscount Cowdray in the South Downs National Park , Midhurst , West Sussex and consists of the Cowdray Park Polo Club and the Cowdray House . The area has been owned by the Cowdray dynasty since 1908 and is now used as a golf course , hunting ground and recreational area. In total, the area is 62 square kilometers. In 1993, Eric Clapton played a concert as part of his From the Cradle World Tour .
