Klaus Schwärzler (* 1973 ) is a German drummer .

Klaus Schwärzler studied drums at the Richard Strauss Conservatory with Adel Shalaby and at the University of Music and Theater in Munich with Peter Sadlo .

Life

He began his professional career from 1997 to 2003 as first percussionist and deputy solo timpanist with the Munich Symphony Orchestra and continued as a solo drummer in the orchestra of the Zurich Opera from 2003 to 2008 . In September 2008 he returned to the stage and changed to the orchestra of the Tonhalle Zurich as a solo drummer . In 2009 Klaus Schwärzler received the professorship for percussion at the University of Music in Zurich .
