Créteil - Préfecture is an above-ground station of the Paris Métro . It is located in the middle of a multi-lane expressway in the Paris suburb of Créteil and is served by Métrolinie 8 .
The station went into operation on September 10, 1974, when the last section of Line 8 from the Créteil - L'Échat station to the Créteil - Préfecture station was opened. Until October 8, 2011, it was the southeastern terminus of line 8.
