Créteil - Université is an above-ground station of the Paris Métro . It is located in the middle of a multi-lane expressway in the Paris suburb of Créteil and is served by Métrolinie 8 . The University of Paris XII is in the immediate vicinity .
The station went into operation on September 10, 1974, when the last section of line 8 from the Créteil - L'Échat station to the Créteil - Préfecture station was opened.
