Crüger is an impact crater on the western edge of the lunar front , west of Oceanus Procellarum , south of Grimaldi crater and northeast of Darwin . The crater is very shallow and the interior of the crater is flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German mathematician Peter Crüger .
