The Crash Nunatak is an isolated nunatak in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Prince Albert Mountains, it looms between Beta Peak and Mount Bowen .
The southern group of a 1962 to 1963 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him so because a Douglas C-47 Skytrain R4D of the United States Navy crashed not far from him on November 25, 1962 .
