The beta peak is 1,620  m high, rocky mountain peaks in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Prince Albert Mountains it towers over a small, ice-free table mountain 3 km northeast of the Zeugenberg Pudding Butte .

The southern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963) named it so because it was the so-called Station B or Beta of the research trip.
