Crawford Grimsley (born August 1, 1967 in Sunrise (Florida) , USA ) is a former American boxer.

Career

Former kickboxer Grimsley started boxing professionally in 1994. After 20 victories against unknown opponents, he was allowed to box for the linear world championship against George Foreman , who had previously only been able to win controversially against Axel Schulz . The fight took place in Japan on November 3, 1996 and Grimsley lost only on points.

In the next fight in 1997 he went in one of the shortest boxing matches in history immediately after the first blow of his opponent Jimmy Thunder after officially 13 seconds, this time includes the ten-second counting, hard knockout. His third defeat in a row he had in October 1997 in Denmark accept against Brian Nielsen , he lost to a technical knockout in the sixth round.

He fought four more times against unknown opponents and finally ended his career after another premature defeat in September 2002.
