Crematorio - In the purgatory of corruption (original title: Crematorio ) is a Spanish television series that was broadcast from March 7, 2011 on the Spanish channel Canal + 1 and was directed by Jorge Sánchez-Cabezudo. It is based on Rafael Chirbes ' novel Crematorium . It tells the story of the powerful building contractor Rubén Bertomeu and his shady machinations inside and outside the family.
