Lucio Godoy

Lucio Godoy (* 1958 in Paraná , Argentina ) is an Argentine composer .

Life

Lucio Godoy studied at conservatories in Buenos Aires , Boston and Paris ; he lived in Paris from 1978 to 1985, where he came into contact with film music . He then wanted to study film composition at the University of Southern California , but decided to study at Berklee College of Music . He lived in Boston for over seven years. He then played in bands for several years before moving to Spain in the mid-1990s, where he was able to establish himself as a film composer with music he wrote for Mondays in the Sun , Amador and Marcela's Roses and Chinese take-away . Godoy was nominated a total of three times for the Spanish Goya film award, where he won him in 2007 for his song "Tiempo pequeño" in La educacion de las hadas .
