The Crescent University ("Crescent Moon University"; Arabic جامعة الهلال) is a private university in Abeokuta , the capital of the state of Ogun in Nigeria . The private university was founded by the Islamic Mission for Africa (IMA) under Bola Ajibola . In the 2011/2012 academic year it had 1,000 students and a total of 82 employees.
