The Cripple Creek & Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad (CC & VNG RR) is a narrow gauge , museum railroad with a gauge of 610 mm (2 feet ) at Cripple Creek, Colorado . Tourist trains operate on a recommissioned section of the Midland Terminal Railway and the Florence and Cripple Creek Railroad . Your train station and about half of the route are part of the Cripple Creek Historic District, classified as a National Historic Landmark .

The railway operates the following locomotives (as of 2015):
- Steam locomotive No. 1 (built in 1902) is a B'B'- Mallet locomotive from Orenstein & Koppel .
- Steam locomotive No. 2 (built in 1936) is a B-coupled tank locomotive from Henschel .
- Steam locomotive No. 3 (built in 1927) is a B-coupled tank locomotive from HK Porter .
- Steam locomotive No. 4 (built in 1947) is a B'B'-Mallet locomotive from WG Bagnall (will be overhauled).
- Locomotive No. 5 (built in 1951) is a two-axle diesel - electric locomotive from General Electric , which was used underground in the battery operation of the Idarado Mine near Telluride (Colorado) and is now used as a Rottenkraftwagen .
Gauges
The railway lines running on this route originally had the standard gauge of 1,435 mm (4 feet 8½ inches ) or the narrow gauge of 914 mm (3 feet). They were re-gauged to 610 mm (2 feet). Operations began on June 28, 1967.
Route
The two-kilometer route begins at the intersection of Bennett Avenue and 5th Street and runs south of Cripple Creek past the old Midland Terminal Wye, then over a rebuilt trestle bridge past the historic mines and finally ends at the abandoned Anaconda Mining Camp. It does not lead to Victor (Colorado) as the name suggests.
Train station and depot
Cripple Creek Station was originally built by the Anaconda Mine for the Midland Terminal Railway in 1894. It was dismantled there in 1912 and rebuilt as Bull Hill Station east of the town of Victor. In 1968 the depot was moved to Cripple Creek.
