Criss Angel

In the show Criss Angel Mindfreak , the illusionist Criss Angel (real name Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos ) stages various, often life-threatening stunts and illusions. These main themes of the episode are loosened up by little tricks that Angel performs in front of passers-by. Seasons 1 and 2 were filmed at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas , and since season 3 has been filmed at the Luxor Hotel . In the first four seasons, Angel staged, among other things, how he walks over water, how he can hover over the pyramid of the Luxor Hotel and how he can free himself from a house ready to be blown up in a few minutes. In 2010, the sixth and so far last season was broadcast in the USA on A&E .

There were also incidents during the shoot. For example, while filming the third season, he injured his neck trying to jump out of a prisoner truck before it fell off a cliff. The shooting had to be stopped for two weeks. He later said he would not try this stunt again.

The program ran on German television on MTV Germany and VIVA Germany .
