Cristal Snow
Cristal Snow , actually Tapio Huuska (* in Naantali , Finland), is a Finnish electro musician. He was one of the Finnish candidates in the national qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 and 2016 , although other candidates were selected as representatives.
Cristal Snow was born in Naantali but grew up in Kankaanpää , a small town in Finland . After graduating from high school, he moved to New York to attend City College . He started studying creative writing and theater . After seven years of college and extensive experience performing in New York nightclubs, Cristal moved back to Finland to continue his singing career.
In December 2007, Cristal signed a recording deal with Helsinki Music Group, a sub-label of Warner Music Group . His debut album The Prophecy went straight into the top ten in March 2008. He toured all of Finland and gave nearly 100 shows in 2008. In 2009, Cristal became a radio host on one of the highest rated afternoon shows in Finland, NRJ . He signed a one-year deal with a broadcast company, and although ratings were high, Cristal left the show in 2010 to promote his second album.
Cristal Snow's second album God You Made Me Wicked was released on May 26, 2010. It also released four singles from the album: Turn Me Up , Killing Me , Wicked and Surrender .
