Cristel Miočević (born October 13, 1995 in Montreux , Canton of Vaud , Switzerland ) is a Croatian soccer player .

Life

Miočević was born in Montreux as the daughter of Croatian immigrants from Dubrovnik . She grew up in Bussigny and attended the Swiss-Croatian school Hrvatska Nastava Lausanne .

Soccer career

In the club

Miočević started her career in 2005 at the age of 10 with Team Vaud. She played alongside the regional youth team, Team Vaud's, in some of the youth teams of FC Renens. There she was promoted to the senior team in the 2011/2012 season at the age of 15 and played 3 games in the 4th division. After her first senior season, she left FC Renens in the summer of 2012 and moved to the B-youth team of FC Yverdon Féminin . There she moved up to the first team in autumn due to injury concerns and made her senior debut in the National League A on August 11, 2012 against BSC Young Boys .

In the national team

Miočević was appointed to a Croatian selection for the first time in September 2012 and made her debut for the U-19 national soccer team of Croatia women on October 20, 2012 against the U-19 of Belgium. After five appearances for the U-19s of Croatia, she was nominated for the first time for the Croatian national team in October 2013 . So she was appointed to the Croatian national soccer team for the Rovinj Cup for the first time on February 27, 2013 and was not used. Mandir finally played her senior international debut on October 26, 2013 against the Slovak national women's football team .
