Cristián Bejarano

Cristián Bejarano (born July 25, 1981 in Chihuahua ) is a retired Mexican boxer .

Bejarano won the bronze medal of the Pan American Games in the lightweight (-60 kg) in 1999 and after victories over Gilbert Khunwane, Botswana (17: 5), Gheorghe Lungu, Romania (14:11), and Almazbek Raimkulov, Kyrgyzstan (14:12) , and a semi-final defeat against Andreas Kotelnik , Ukraine (22:14), the bronze medal of the Olympic Games . He also won the silver medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1999 and 2000 .

2001 Bejarano turned professional and won his first 14 fights under class opponents. After another victory over the former world champion César Bazán, Bejarano ended his career undefeated in 2007 but without ever having won a major title.
