Cristian Raúl Ledesma (born December 29, 1978 in San Isidro ) is an Argentine football player . He is nicknamed Lobo ("Wolf").
Club career
Ledesma began his professional career in 1997 with the football club Argentinos Juniors . Other positions were at River Plate , Hamburger SV in Germany , CF Monterrey in Mexico , CA Colón and Racing Club de Avellaneda .
After winning the championship with San Lorenzo, Ledesma signed a contract with Greek champions Olympiacos for an estimated € 1,800,000 and was given the opportunity to show off his skills in the UEFA Champions League . After a year at Olympiakos, he was loaned back to San Lorenzo for one season in August 2008.
National team
He made his debut in the game against Chile on April 18, 2007 during the Copa America , in which Argentina reached the final but lost to Brazil . He also played in a friendly against Norway on August 22, 2007. His third appearance for Argentina was against Australia on September 11.
