DFB League Cup 2003

The 2003 DFB League Cup was the eighth edition of the competition. Participants were the first five teams of the previous Bundesliga season and the ninth VfL Bochum, as the teams played from 6th to 8th place in the UI Cup . The Hamburger SV won by a 4: 2 against Borussia Dortmund in the final in Mainz. The top goalscorers of the competition with two goals each were Marcio Amoroso and Jan Koller from Borussia Dortmund, Michael Ballack from Bayern Munich and Bernardo Romeo from HSV.
