DFB League Cup 2001
The 2001 DFB League Cup was the sixth edition of the competition. Participants were the first six teams of the previous Bundesliga season , including FC Schalke 04 as cup winners and runner-ups. Hertha BSC won 4-1 against FC Schalke 04 in the Mannheim final. The most successful goal scorers were Victor Agali from FC Schalke 04 and Marcelinho from Hertha BSC with two goals each.
