Cristine Prosperi (born April 7, 1993 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress , best known for her role as Imogen Moreno in the television series Degrassi .

Life

Prosperi grew up in Toronto. She played her first role in a commercial at the age of three. With the support of her parents, she pursued her acting career alongside her training. At the age of 17 her breakthrough came with the role of Imogen in the series Degrassi . In addition to international attention, this role also earned her great recognition among young people in the LGBT scene. She has been running the fashion and lifestyle blog styleprosperity.com since 2014 . Prosperi lives alternately in Toronto and Los Angeles .

For her role in Degrassi , Prosperi received the award for Best Actress in a TV Series at the Young Artist Awards 2012 in Los Angeles .
