Carraleva ( Albanian also Carralevë or Mali i Carralevës , Serbian Црнољева Crnoljeva ) is a mountain range in central Kosovo , which divides the geographical regions Metochien and Amselfeld . It was named in Albanian after the village of Carraleva .
location
The Carraleva is located east of the catchment area of the Drenica and west of the Mirusha and Topluga. It extends oblong in north-south direction. The highest point is the Topila with a height of 1177 m. i. J.
Industry and Infrastructure
The mountain region is rich in coal as well as chromium and magnesite ores . The M-9 expressway , which connects Peja with Pristina , runs through the central part of the mountain range . Raw materials are mined especially near this road.
