The Crosscut Point ( English for Kreuzhiebspitze ) is a headland consisting of jagged rocks with characteristic dykes at the northern end of Vindication Island in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . It marks the western boundary of the northern entrance to the Nelson Channel .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations , who surveyed the area in 1930, gave the headland its descriptive name.
