Crush fetish
A crush fetish is a paraphilia in which a person of the opposite sex either tramples on objects, food and sometimes small animals under their feet and thus has a sexually arousing effect on the recipient. It is said to occur frequently in connection with foot fetishism . In the media, animal cruelty is referred to as “animal crushing” in which small animals are killed by being crushed. Film recordings of such abuse are distributed for a fee.

According to Section 17 number 1 of the Animal Welfare Act (TierSchG), anyone who kills a vertebrate for no good reason is punished with a prison sentence of up to three years or a fine. The infliction of pain, suffering or damage is illegal according to Section 18 Paragraph 1 TierSchG and can be punished with a fine of up to twenty-five thousand euros according to Paragraph 4. In addition, the distribution of animal pornography is also punishable by imprisonment of up to three years or a fine in accordance with Section 184a of the Criminal Code .
