The Crystal Pond ( English for crystal lake ) is a lake with a diameter of 20 m on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It lies on an icy moraine in the Vestfold Mountains .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1984 after the ice needles on the frozen surface of the lake.
