The Cseber , also Tseber, was the Hungarian bucket in Timisoara and Debrecen (Upper Hungary ) and was valid until around 1854.

The measure was only valid as a wine measure and a distinction was made between the large and small Cseber.

  • 1 Cseber (large) / Nagy Cseber = 2 Cseber (small) / KisCseber = 10 Kanta = 100 Jeze / Halbe / Icze = 4201 ⅞ Parisian cubic inches = 83.3575 liters also 4287.32 Parisian cubic inches = 85.044856 liters
