The Cuchilla de Cerro Largo is a range of hills in Uruguay .
The mountain range with an average height of 200 meters above sea level is located in the east of the country. It is a side strand of the Cuchilla Grande and extends roughly from the center of the Cerro Largo department to the north of Treinta y Tres . It separates the catchment areas of the Río Tacuarí from those of the Arroyo Parao - ultimately the Río Olimar , whose tributary it is - and smaller tributaries of the Laguna Merín . Several tributaries of the Río Tacuarí have their source in the Cuchilla de Cerro Largo, the highest point of which is the Cerro de Cerro Largo at around 300 meters .
