The Río Olimar is a river in Uruguay .

The approximately 140-kilometer-long river originates in the Cuchilla Grande in the west of the departments of Treinta y Tres southwest of the town Esperanza and west of Santa Clara de Olimar . From there it flows in a west-east direction to its confluence with the Río Cebollatí , whose main tributary it forms. On his way he is fed by both the Río Olimar Chico and the Arroyo Yerbal Grande . The size of its catchment area is 5,320 km².
