The Río Olimar Chico is a river in eastern Uruguay .
The approximately 115 km long river rises north of José Batlle y Ordóñez in the Cuchilla Grande at 310 meters above sea level and flows from there, while it forms the border of the departments Lavalleja and Treinta y Tres , to its confluence in the area of Treinta y Tres in the Río Olimar . The Cuchilla del Medio and the Cuchilla de las Pavas extend north of the upper reaches of the Río Olimar Chico . The Río Olimar Chico has a catchment area of around 1800 km² and is part of the Laguna Merín basin in Uruguay.
