Philippe Cudré-Mauroux

Philippe Cudré-Mauroux (* 13. September 1976 in Freiburg i.Üe. ) is a professor of University of Friborg (CH) at the Department of computer science. He heads the eXascale Infolab, which includes a group of researchers who design infrastructures for the use of large amounts of data . Before he came to the University of Freiburg , he worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Database Systems lab. Cudré-Mauroux received his doctorate from EPFL in Lausanne .

Philippe Cudré-Mauroux has the Faculty Research Award in 2013, Google acquired to search engines to improve thanks to human assistance. In addition, he received the following awards, among others:
