Cumbia Ninja is a Colombian television series produced by Fox ( aka Fox Latinoamerica) from 2013 to 2015 .

The La Colina district is largely spared the gang crime that plagues the surrounding districts. The residents owe this to their esteemed leader and protector Chico. He constantly fights against drug sales and against the gangs who run this business.
When he is murdered, however, his brother Hace is supposed to take over this task. However, Hace thinks little of it and prefers to cultivate his great passion for music. To the amazement of many, Hace and his friends manage to keep the peace in La Colina through their songs. He is also protected by Master Xiang Wu. This lives in a nearby house in Chinese style . Sungaku, a thousand years old dragon sleeps in a kind of pyramid in La Colina. He is awakened from sleep by Hace's music.
