Sarah Dawn Finer (born September 14, 1981 in Stockholm ) is a singer , presenter , songwriter and actress from Sweden .

life and career

Her father is from the United Kingdom and her mother is from the United States . She herself was born and raised in Sweden . She attended the Adolf Fredrik Music School in Stockholm.

Her first album Sarah Dawn Finer with 6 songs came out in 2006. Her first full-length album, A Finer Dawn , was released on May 30, 2007. In the course of her career she has released six albums so far.

At Euro Vision Song Contest in 2013 she appeared as Interval Act before scoring with The Winner Takes It All by ABBA on.

Melodifestivalen

In 2007 she took part in the Swedish preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest Melodifestivalen with the ballad I Remember Love and took fourth place. The ballad became one of the most played songs on Swedish radio in 2007. In 2009 it started with the song Moving On , with which it reached the finals.

She has played the character of Lynda Woodruff , a fictional British EBU employee, in various editions of Melodifestivalen . She also performed with this figure at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and 2016 .

In 2019 she moderated the event together with Eric Saade , Marika Carlsson and Kodjo Akolor .
