Curdin Furrer (born March 21, 1991 ) was a Swiss floorball player . He was under contract with National League A representative Chur floorball .
Since spring 2018 he has been President of Chur Unihockey.
Career
society
Chur floorball
Furrer began his career with Chur floorball , where he made his debut in the top Swiss league during the 2008/09 season. He was under contract with the Churern until spring 2012.
Bern Capitals
Due to his studies in Bern, he switched to the Bern Capitals for the 2012/13 season.
Floorball Tigers
After only one year he left the team from the capital. He signed a one-year contract with an option with the Floorball Tigers. With the Tigers, he was able to be crowned runner-up at the end of the season, as the final was lost to SV Wiler-Ersigen. After the season, his contract was extended. In 2015 he was in the final of the Swiss Cup with the Tigers. This was lost to the UHC Alligator Malans 5: 3.
Chur floorball
On May 8, 2017, Chur Unihockey announced the return of Furrer to the canton capital. At the end of the 2017/18 season, Furrer announced his retirement from top-class sport. Since then he has been President of Chur Unihockey
National team
2017 debuted under David Jansson in the Swiss national floorball team at the Euro Floorball Tour. He was used in three games. He saved 12 shots, but had to reach behind him six times.
resignation
In May 2018, Furrer announced the resignation of his active sports career. But he remained loyal to the club and was elected the youngest president in the club's history that summer.
