The Curie Point ( French Pointe P. Curie ) is a headland that forms the northeastern extension of the Doumer Island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago .
Participants in the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903-1905) under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot mapped the headland. Charcot named it after the French chemist Pierre Curie (1859-1906). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee transferred the French name to English on November 21, 1949.
