Curt Haagers was a Swedish dansband that formed in 1966 under the name Five Spots . In 2006 the band broke up.
Band history
The band changed its name to Curt Haagers in 1966. This name was made up of the names of the musicians, "Curt" from Curt-Erik, "Haag" came from Hans and Haggren, the "ers" from Roger. The musicians are based in Gothenburg .
In 1969 the formation recorded their first single Dansa en dans med mig , followed by the album Det går som en dans in 1973 . Curt Haagers recorded the Fågeldans , the Swedish variant of the duck dance , in 1981. The song became very popular. In 1999 the song Du är den käraste helped the band to get first place in the Svensktoppen .
