Custombike (fair)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The custom bike is Europe's largest trade fair for self- and rebuilt motorcycles . The organizer is Huber Verlag GmbH & Co. KG.

Since 2005, the fair has always been held on the first weekend in December in the Bad Salzuflen exhibition center . The exhibition area is now more than 25,000 square meters, divided into four halls. The average of 300 exhibitors come from the areas of motorcycle, customizing , accessories and parts production as well as motorcycle and leisure clothing. A burnout competition and a Christmas market take place in the outdoor area . The heart of the fair is the European Biker Build-Off, in which two teams from different nations build a motorcycle within three days that will lead them to the title and Europe's largest competition for converted motorcycles - the “International Custombike Championship Germany”. This was launched by the magazines Bikers News , Custombike and Dream-Machines . Here you can choose from a wide variety of motorcycle conversions. An expert jury will choose the best bikes in various categories live during the fair. Other fixed and established items on the program are live body painting and the choice of “Miss Custombike”.

After Huber Verlag filed for bankruptcy on February 4th, it was announced on June 29th, 2020 that Huber Verlag will be closed. Nothing is currently known about a possible future of custom bikes.
