Cyborg Attack is a band from Chemnitz and Leipzig . Your music style is attributed to electro .
history
The band was founded in 1995 by Tino Weidauer alias Euscha ( keyboard ) and Raik Wild ( vocals ). Inspired by electro and bands like Front 242 , Cat Rapes Dog and Tyske Ludder , the charismatic, dark and hard sound slowly developed, which became the figurehead of Cyborg Attack. Lyrically, the band mainly deals with topics related to war , surreal premonitions of the end of the times, as well as socially critical aspects.
After a successful start within the scene and a number of smaller tours and appearances as the opening act for Terminal Choice, Cat Rapes Dog, Funker Vogt and other bands, the debut MCD Toxic came out in 1997 . Since it was an in-house production, some ideas could not be realized. Due to good sales figures, the first contacts to various record labels were made , so that after the reunion in 2000, work on the first album began.
In December 1999, the co-founder and then front man Raik Wild left the band to start a career in the more pop music field. About 3 months passed before the remaining band members could find a successor with the new front man Sandro Franz alias Punisher and the band was complete again. With new songs and some sampler contributions they drew the attention of the Chemnitz label BlackRain and after the successful appearance in front of approx. 3000 listeners at the 9th (Chaos) Wave-Gotik-Treffen in 2000, a record deal was signed with the sub-label NoiTekk. The first album Blutgeld was released in 2001 and Eno Enrico Laukner was firmly integrated into the band as the fourth member. Due to a few problems, the decision was made in 2003 to switch directly to the main label BlackRain, through which the album Stoerf *** tor was released in 2006.
