Cymadothea trifolii is a species of fungus from the order of the soot-dew-like (Capnodiales). The species is common, especially in humid summers.
features
On the underside of clover leaves, black spots with a diameter of 1 millimeter form, which merge to a greater or lesser extent. On the spots there are conidia on corkscrew-like twisted supports . They are two-celled and measure 20 to 24 × 9 to 12 microns. Pseudothecia form on dead leaves after overwintering.
