Cynthia Djohoré (born December 2, 1990 in Gagnoa ) is an Ivorian soccer and former volleyball player .

Career

society

Djohoré played volleyball and soccer in her youth. In 2008 she started her sports studies at the Université d`Abidjan Cocody and played volleyball there. In the spring of 2010, she ended her volleyball career and focused on football when she became a goalkeeper in the highest Ivorian women's league at Onze Sœurs Gagnoa . There she was awarded the Ballon d'Or of the Fédération Ivoirienne de Football (FIF) as Goalkeeper of the Year in 2011 . In the spring of 2012, she left her club Onze Sœurs and switched to league rivals Sisters of Eleven Gagnoa on loan. In September 2012 she returned from Sisters of Eleven to her parent club Onze Sœurs.

National team

She has been a member of the Ivorian national soccer team for women since 2011 and was nominated for the Coupe d'Afrique des nations féminine de football on October 26, 2012 .

Volleyball career

Before starting her football career, she played volleyball successfully. In this sport she played from 2007 to 2008 in the highest women's league for the Magnans d'Adjamé club and at the 2009 Université d`Abidjan Cocody . In 2009 she also played a few games for the Ivory Coast U-20s.
