Cyrillus (company)

Cyrillus is a French brand for textile and decorative items and belongs to the Cyrillus Vertbaudet Group. The Cyrillus collections are created exclusively by the brand's designers and offer products for the whole family (women, men, girls, boys, babies) as well as bed linen, lighting and other decorative items. Cyrillus sells its products in several European countries, including Germany. In addition, Cyrillus works regularly with well-known designers (for example with Eric Bergère in 2008).

history

The Cyrillus brand was created by Danielle Tellinge, who presented her first models in 1977. She named her collection Cyrillus - after her son Cyrille. Founded as a family company, Cyrillus became a subsidiary of the French mail order company Redcats Group in the early 1980s , which is majority owned by the Kering Group (formerly PPR), to which a. the brands Puma, Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent belong. In March 2013, Kering sold the Redcats family division, consisting of the Vertbaudet and Cyrillus brands, to Alpha Private Equity Fund 6 (“APEF6”).
