Acırlı is a small town in the district of Midyat the Turkish province of Mardin . Acırlı is located about 61 km northeast of the provincial capital Mardin and 9 km northwest of Midyat. According to the last census, Acırlı had 5,281 inhabitants (as of December 2009). Before it was renamed to Acırlı, the village was called Derizbin.
