Dontje
Der oder das Döntje (mostly in the plural: Döntjes ; also Dönken and in West and Eastern Falconia called Döneken , plural Döneken ) is an originally Low German name for a smaller, mostly cheerful, fictional story or actual anecdote from everyday life, which is traditionally oral is handed down (see: simple form and oral tradition ) and, if it is more widespread, it may be included in the people's property . A characteristic feature of this literary smallest form, which only occurs in the Low German-speaking area, is its brevity. Döntjes head towards a punchline, similar to a joke .
