The elongated multi- street village is located west of the Traisen River opposite the actual city of Lilienfeld.
history
The place was mentioned in a document in 1311. The bridge over the Traisen was secured with the servant tower.
The hammer in Jungherrntal on Jungherrntalstraße 21, mentioned in a document in 1792, was leased by Johann Waenzel in 1852 or bought in 1856 and under Franz Waenzel a branch of the rifle factory was established in Marktl from 1867 to 1872.
