The Traisner hut or Traisnerhütte and Traisener hut is a refuge of nature lovers Austria at Lilienfeld . It is located around one kilometer south of the Muckenkogel summit on the Hinteralm and at an altitude of 1311 m.
The hut is located on hiking trails 04A, 622 and is the base of the Traisentaler circular hiking trail 655.
history
The refuge was built in 1922 by the Friends of Nature Austria . Four years later it was expanded on the left with an extension and in 1928 on the right. From 1984 the Traisnerhütte was completely renovated, among other things, the Eternit cladding was removed from the outer walls and replaced with cedar shingles.

- from Lilienfeld with the Muckenkogel chairlift, 45 minutes from the mountain station to the house
- from Lilienfeld on foot, 2½ hours
- Crossing Traisnerhütte-Reisalpenhaus, 3½ hours
