Døeshøjene (also called "Store Døs") is a group of burial mounds northwest of Holstebro in Jutland in Denmark . It lies on both sides of the small river Ellebæk, between Måbjerg and Navr, and consists of 25 preserved and 10 plowed-up barrows from the Stone and Bronze Ages .

23 barrows were placed under protection in 1885 when H. Petersen excavated Bredhøj. Four body and two urn graves were found during his excavation . In a grave one found u. a. a partially braided, wool-woven strap. This technique has not been found anywhere else.

The burial mounds are varied. On the Måbjerg side of Ellebæk there is a group of 18 barrows. Two of them are flat-topped hills . Bredhøj is one such hill with a diameter of 50.0 m. On the Navr side of the river are three long hills , the longest 122 m long, one is 96 m long, it is called Langmette. Finally there are two twin hills. The others are round hills.

All the hills are along the "Old Road" ( Danish: Oldtidsvejen ). It leads from the Limfjord via Struer , Holstebro, Borbjerg, Sevel and Trandum to Karup Å and to Viborg .
